Common Name: Petal Pixies
Diet: Nectarivore
Habitat: Plants, flowering plants exclusively
Summary: Small draconic creatures with impeccable natural camouflage.
Threat Rating: ● ○ ○ ○ ○
Their manner of hiding their flocks is, dare I say, ingenious. We observed them creating a new home for themselves; in groups of eight to ten, they pluck the petals off an existing flower, nestle along it, and fan their wings in such a way that they take on the illusion of being the original petals!
With the leaves undisturbed, the plant continues to grow, and they continue to reap the nectar from it. They're quick to leave a chosen flower when disturbed, but, as I've been told, apparently they're a bit snippy when picked up. Their mouths are quite small, but apparently they contain just enough teeth to give you a pinch.
